Hello,<\/p>\n

My name is Diane Levesque, I chose to get involved with L\u00c9veil de Brome-Missisquoi after receiving socio-professional services to better manage my anxiety at work. I was amazed by the dynamic team, by the welcome and the non-judgment. In addition, socio-professional services are, in my opinion, a necessity in the community and are unique in the health network. Nowhere else exists this kind of service for job retention related to mental health and recovery. L’\u00c9veil for me is more than a service, it is also a support group and a membership group. Finally, I would like to say thank you all the members, the team and the other volunteers. Together, we make this organism unique and alive. Thank you!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n

From a young age, my life journey has been strewn with challenges related to mental health. Fortunately, I was able to take advantage of many services and met dedicated individuals within multiple organizations. Recently, it was at L\u2019\u00c9veil that I found the tools to progress. I also felt privileged when I was asked to join this CA. Above all, I hope to be able to give back to this organisation that has helped me so much. The needs are growing, and I would like to be able to help.<\/div><\/div>\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n

I am a 45 year old woman. I have been part of the l\u2019\u00c9veil for several years. Why do I want to be part of the board? This is a cause close to my heart. I want to get things done. I want to make people aware so that they no longer have taboos and shame when talking about mental health, because everyone has a mental health. It is thanks to the l\u2019\u00c9veil that I am better. Especially thanks to the Tuesday afternoon workshops.<\/p>\n

I have always been a deeply sensitive person, and for a long time, that sensitivity was difficult for me to manage. The obstacles of life, along with the everyday highs and lows\u2014both positive and negative\u2014often left me feeling hopeless and unsure that I would ever find a life that truly brought me happiness.<\/p>\n

Because I was so vulnerable to my own emotions, I eventually decided to seek help. That is when L\u2019\u00c9veil came into my life.<\/p>\n

With every meeting and every step forward, I found myself getting closer to the life I truly deserved, rather than the life I had created for myself because of a lack of self-confidence.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00c9veil opened doors for me that I never thought were possible, and I feel incredibly grateful for everything they have done. Today, I want to give back and help others the way they helped me.<\/p>\n

By participating on the committee, I am able to bring the perspective of someone who has personally benefited from L\u2019\u00c9veil\u2019s services, share my unique point of view, and help highlight the incredible work and impact of this organization.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00c9veil gave me the opportunity to believe in myself and move toward a better life. Being able to give back is my way of saying thank you.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n

It is a privilege to be part of an organization that mental Health issues matter. What is my motivation?\u00a0 Education, community and personal development have always interest me.
